A FEW THINGS.....

I heard from some peripheral men yesterday.  One that was suppose to be moving out of town but said he was still working in this area.  He has been dancing around for months but hasn't had enough courage to ask me out.  I'd probably say no anyway.

The young poet that is handsome, talented and wishful is someone that still contacts me and I send short messages to him. He lives in LA county and again, he is way to young, but I love his verbage and way of thinking.  He did get published on Amazon.

A lawyer that I had drinks with has gone into the woodwork.  I had to laugh.  At one point, a while ago, I had sent him a text that said, "yes, no, or maybe."  He answered with, "soon," lawyer speak for never.

Also there is a man in Connecticut that contacts me and has been for a long time.  Another traveling man and certainly not near by.  He again is someone that is fun to talk to via phone, but I've never, and probably won'[t ever, meet him.  Although I've learned to never say never.

The other night I stopped for dinner and this young Indian man came in.  The place I go that is very comfortable is like a Cheers place.  They have great food and you can go in alone, sit at the bar and eat.  Well, this man asked if he could move closer to me and said he didn't want to be alone.  I don't own the bar stools, so I said, "yes, of course."  He proceeded to tell me about himself.  He lived in Yorba Linda, owned his own technology company that was located near Tustin.  He was really chatty and bought a few rounds of drinks, oysters, and then said, "let me buy your dinner."  I kind of thought better of it, but said okay.  He went on to ask me if I wanted to go out on Valentine's Day and he would send a limo for me and we would go to L.A.  Not in this lifetime.  He bought two more drinks of Johnny Walker Blue and I told him I really needed to get home.  He put his name in my cell phone, not that I would ever call him but it was a pleasant enough evening.  He was way to young, around forty seven.....what is it with these young men liking older women.  I guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Brruno sent me a text last night saying he was thinking of me, I really missed him last night.  Vet man came for his drink, brought me candy and a card and then left for a meeting.  So, Valentine's was busy, at least via phone.

Home this weekend and hopefully I can get some drawers cleaned out.
