Last night was a coup of sorts at the Elks. It has been a good old boy place for so long and the guys have had a strangle hold on things being done. Last night the vote came in for two women to take over very important positions at the club. One for Secretary and one for Treasurer. Every one's hope is that the rift that has been going on with the boys will be eliminated and we can go back to having fun with cooperation and charity......which is what the Elks is suppose to be about.
Still have not heard a word from Bruno. Vet man checks in on me everyday to see if I'm okay. I know that Bruno is knee deep in his world and he does focus on his business to the point of distraction for me. He can be so thoughtful and then go off for days with no contact. We'll see if he surfaces sometime today.
